Patricia F. Dempster, LUTCF®, is a Financial Advisor at Dempster & Floyd Financial Partners. In 2011, she proudly joined her father, M. Dale Floyd, in the financial services industry. Growing up outside of Columbia in Irmo, South Carolina, Patricia was inspired by her father's passion for helping others. His clients became friends, and his friends became clients, a legacy that Patricia is proud to continue.
Her father’s incredible 46-year career with Prudential, which he dedicated to helping individuals and families pursue financial well-being, left an indelible mark on the industry. Although he passed away in 2013, his legacy continues to guide and inspire Pat every day.
Her uncle, O. Coke Floyd, Jr., also played a pivotal role in our family's commitment to the financial services field. With over 54 years at Prudential, his unwavering dedication to his clients continues.
In 2012, her son, J. Craig Floyd, joined the practice as the Office Manager and quickly became an integral part of our team. Today, he serves as Pat’s partner advisor, helping to carry the legacy forward into the next generation. They represent three generations of financial professionals, and Pat hopes to see the fourth generation join the team in the future.
In 2024, Pat’s husband, Richard, joined the practice, further strengthening the family’s bond and commitment to helping clients navigate their financial journeys. Completing the family picture is their daughter, Tiffany, three grandchildren (Ember, Marcus, and Eleanor) and their office dog, Buddy, a white lab mix.
Pat earned a degree in Business Management with a minor in Programming from Limestone College. Patricia holds several licenses, including Series 6, Series 63, Series 65, SIE, and Series 7 with LPLE. She is also a NAIFA and MDRT member and holds the LUTCF® (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) designation.
Outside of work, Pat enjoys spending time with family and friends, often hosting social gatherings around their outdoor cabana, where they watch sporting events on TV while floating in the pool. This blend of family and social activities reflects her warm and engaging personality.
