With over 30 years in the HVAC industry, including the successful ownership and operation of his own business, Richard has a deep understanding of the challenges that small business owners and families face.
Richard grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and now calls Lexington, SC, home. He is married to Patricia Dempster and together they have two children: Joseph Craig Floyd (Tracy) and Tiffany Young-Williams (Robert). Three wonderful grandchildren: Ember, Marcus, and Eleanor, along with their beloved yellow lab mix, Buddy, completes the family. Richard's favorite activities outside of work include family gatherings, activities with friends and neighbors, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoys playing and/or watching virtually any sport or athletic type event.
Richard's favorite part of his job is interacting with clients and developing strong, lasting relationships. His career journey took a significant turn when he joined his wife’s financial advisory business, where he now focuses on helping individuals, families, and small business owners navigate the complexities of health insurance. His experience as a business owner has given him a unique perspective on the needs of entrepreneurs, and he is passionate about finding tailored health insurance solutions that offer both affordability and comprehensive coverage.
